The Prophet PBUH said,

Islam is based on (the following) five (principles):

- To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle.

- To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly.

- To pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity) .

- To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca)

- To observe fast during the month of Ramadan.

Hadith Qudsi

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:

" لَمَّا قَضَى اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ، كَتَبَ فِي كِتَابِهِ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ، فَهُوَ مَوْضُوعٌ عِنْدَهُ:

إِنَّ رَحْمَتِي تَغْلِبُ غَضَبِي"

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah who said that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said:

When Allah decreed the Creation He pledged Himself by writing in His book which is laid down with Him:

My mercy prevails over my wrath.

Recitation With Translation

	¡En el nombre de Alá, el Compasivo, el Misericordioso!
1.	¡Por los corceles jadeantes,
2.	que hacen saltar chispas,
3.	cargan el alba,
4.	levantando, así, una nube de polvo
5.	y rompen a través de una hueste!
6.	El hombre, en verdad, es muy desagradecido con su Señor,
7.	y él es, sí, testigo de ello.
8.	Y ama ardientemente, sí, los bienes terrenales.
9.	¿No sabe, acaso, que cuando lo que hay en las sepulturas sea vuelto al revés
10.	y se haga público lo que hay en los pechos,
11.	ese día, su Señor estará, ciertamente, bien informado de ellos? *********
